Are animal rights respected in Poland?
Animal rights aren't respected in Poland. It's clearly stated in Polish law, that animal, as a living creature, is able to suffer, so it isn't an object. People owe them respect, protection and care. But even that this clear statement has been made in Polish law, a majority of people in Poland don't really care about wild animals, and sometimes even their own pets. Animal cruelty can be seen on a daily basis, and most passerby don't even care enough to come and help. Luckily, there are some people left, that actually care enough about the animal health and well being to help. Even the smallest things like building a birdhouse for winter, or basically donating some amount of money to organisations that helps animals can be very helpful not only for the animals, but generally for nature.
